REDE DE ATENÇAO À SAÚDE NO VALE DO PARAÍBA E LITORAL NORTE PAULISTA: DESAFIOS PARA O ALCANCE DA EQUIDADE.

Considering the expanded concept of health and the possibility of interdisciplinary dialogues, the Paraíba Valley and North Coast of São Paulo became an object of investigation based on an analysis of the geographic distribution of professionals and health establishments, whose objective was to examine their Care Network to Health, in order to identify possible independence in the organization of the urban network regarding the distribution of health services and bring thoughts and new assumptions to a preliminary discussion in the perspective of an integrated planning. The methodology used combined bibliographical and historical research with quantitative analysis based on statistical data from sources such as IBGE, RAIS, DATASUS and SEADE. Due to limitations, the results were not sufficient to state whether there is indeed a regional imbalance in the health care network, however, possible research developments were identified, and data analyzed allow the conclusion that there is a historical reproduction of socio-territorial inequalities.
