Abstract
- The article profiles Tharshan Selvarajah, a Sri Lankan immigrant baker in France who won the 2023 Grand Prize of the Traditional French Baguette and received the honor of delivering baguette to French President Emmanual Macron and his staff. It shows the hard work of Selvarajah as a baker and bakery owner and provides a background on his beginnings in Paris, France as an immigrant. Focus is also given on Selvarajah's encounter with racism and prejudice in France.
