Abstract
- This article reports that business aviation groups and congressional supporters, while hailing the return of general aviation flights to Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) after a nearly four-year ban, are already planning ways to expand operations. General aviation operators may only fly into DCA from one of 12 "gateway" airport. At the time general aviation operations were suspended at DCA, there were approximately 660 GA and charter flights per week in and out of the airport, about twice as many as the new Transportation Security Administration plan would allow.
