Abstract
- The article focuses on Raytheon Technologies Corp. receiving an 87.5 million U.S. dollar contract to upgrade and maintain software for the Relocatable Over-The-Horizon Radar (ROTHR) used by the U.S. Navy for long-range surveillance in the Caribbean and South America, with ROTHR employing HF radar waves that bounce off the ionosphere, presenting challenges related to signal interference and changes in signal reception.
