Abstract
- This article investigates the quota system. Considered by many to be a public policy that works in theory differently from practice, others consider it an important tool for social inclusion. Data collection was carried out through the application of a questionnaire and the analysis was performed with the percentage of responses from the participating teachers' opinions. The results indicated that teachers see the quota system as an instrument of social inclusion. Therefore, the conclusion was that this public policy is further discussed and expanded, demonstrating a path of possibilities and advances allowing the democratization of education for citizens from different social classes, places, and scenarios.
