Abstract
- Educational practices in the Latin American context, and in Argentine in particular, are crossed by segmentation processes that exhibit multiple actors and partially decentred formats of state institutions. Due to this complexity, its study requires sustained work in the territory, the application of comprehensive practices and knowledge built collaboratively between local and university actors. The present work aims to characterize some aspects of these educational practices in the framework of a neighborhood on the outskirts of the city of La Plata (CABA, Argentina). From an ethnographic analysis -and through observations and interviews-, a mapping of the territory is presented to identify actors and institutions involved in daily experiences, as well as the recognition of intervention processes of the State and civil society, and its scope. The results offered intended to offer some preliminary reflections on educational processes located in community contexts. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
