Abstract

The article provides insights into the study of noroviruses (NoVs), a leading cause of nonbacterial gastroenteritis. It discusses recent advances in understanding the tropism of NoVs for intestinal epithelial cells (IECs) and their sensitivity to antiviral cytokines, particularly interferons (IFNs). Additionally, it explores the role of tuft cells in the innate immune response to NoV infections.
