Abstract

Osteonecrosis of the femur head is a degenerative disease of the musculoskeletal system that has the most destructive effect on cancellous bone. Physiotherapy is used to improve the condition of biological tissues. One of the methods of external mechanical action, which has a therapeutic effect, is ultrasonic loading. In this work, a numerical model of ultrasonic impact on a healthy hip joint was developed based on the computational particle mechanics. Using computer simulation it was found that the conditions for the regeneration of bone tissues of the hip joint are created with ultrasonic wave with an intensity of more than 3 W/cm2.
