PRÁTICAS SOCIOECONÔMICAS E AMBIENTAIS DAS MULHERES RURAIS DA ASSOCIAÇÃO DE HORTIFRUTIGRANJEIROS DE MIRASSOL D'OESTE/MT.

The objective of the article was to characterize the socioeconomic and environmental aspects of rural women organized in the Associação de Hortifrutigranjeiros de Mirassol D'Oeste/MT, starting from the theme of selfdetermination of the female public in rural spaces. The investigation, qualitative, was delineated from the case study with seven semi-structured interviews. Selfdetermination permeates the promotion of public policies that strengthen social, economic and environmental aspects, and for this it is necessary (i) a pre-disposition from public managers to design policies for the female public and promote them, (ii) and of rural women to claim their rights and impose themselves in society, particularly in the process of sustainable rural development.
