Abstract

Indirect inguinal hernia is one of the most common congenital anomalies of infancy and childhood. In female infants, inguinal hernias mostly contain the ovary with or without fallopian tube. The presence of the uterus along with both the fallopian tubes and both the ovaries within hernia sac is an extremely rare condition in infants. Very few cases have been reported in literature. We report such a rare case of left inguinal hernia with uterus, both the fallopian tubes, and both the ovaries within hernial sac in a 2-month infant. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
