Being a learning city means being recognized and recognizing itself as a city that understands the fundamental role of continuous learning in the life of all citizens, without excluding anyone. A learning aimed at healthy growth and harmonious development, capable of generating well-being and stability. The contribution to the research of this theoretical/empirical work is to identify, share and propose good practices aimed at promoting social inclusion and continuous learning through the driving force of culture and art, in particular of music, in one's own community. To be more concrete and practical, it was preferred to zoom in on a city, Palermo, recently welcomed into the learning cities network by focusing on some dynamics of its social texture.
