Abstract

An investigation into the influence of rotor size, casting temperature on the mechanical characteristics of a stainless-steel alloy's component produced by sand casting revealed that they were mined locally and reprocessed into a cylindrical type of sand used for construction. Azare Foundry specialises in metal manufacturing. Molding sand is a type of sand used to make moulds. In Runners to the mould cavity, the effect of runner size on runner performance was investigated. The runner's reduced cross-section is taken into account. Temperatures ranging from 250 to 350 degrees Celsius were used to prepare the mould. The casting temperature, on the other hand, has been reduced to 600-8000 degrees Celsius. A variety of mechanical properties of stainless-steel alloy castings, such as hardness, shock, and traction, were examined. The mechanical properties of stainless-steel alloy cast iron were found to be influenced by the process parameters used in this investigation. When used as data inputs in the sand-casting process, which is one of the most common industrial processes in poor countries, the findings of this study may help to reduce the vast quantity of incorrect castings that are frequently generated while also making the operation less expensive.
