REPRESENTACIONES FEMENINAS EN LA OBRA DE CARMEN ROSA SAN MIGUEL DE ARANDA.

The aim of this paper is to analyze the female images and representations outlined in "Mi niñez", an autobiography by the Salta artist Carmen Rosa San Miguel de Aranda. We will account for the values that the writer attributes to the women in her narrative and the relationship of this moral repertoire with the context of production of her work. We start from the premise that this life story contributes to the definition of the writer's identity, while highlighting the agreements and tensions between the latter and the canonized female models that constituted the Salta culture of the early twentieth century.
