Abstract

In the present scenario, smart services and innovation have a great impact over the traditional approaches in many sectors such as agriculture, mining, utilities, textiles, etc. This impact shows an impression on the farmers and rural areas of the agriculture sector. In India, the economy diversifies as the agriculture sector becomes a strong pillar of economic growth. This sector needs to be benefitted from the innovation and latest technological advancements so that it can re-shape the future of the Indian economy. Shortage of food supply and the incremental growth of population are two big challenges in sustainability, which need to be overcome with the realistic solutions of the smart farming app through a smartphone and stable Internet connectivity. The proposed system called smart farming application is designed to introduce a new approach in this direction that provides real-time solutions to the problems of the Indian farmers. Its architecture not only assists them with suitable solutions but also provides them the important suggestions for their critical issues say to transit from traditional farming approaches to smart-farming methods. It is implemented using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and NodeJS making it highly interactive for the registered farmers and users. It examines the way how a smart farming assistant helps them in using the agricultural services through the web-enabled platform so that they can gain the correct information in real-time.
