Abstract

The article presents a case study of a patient with chronic neuropathic pain after hemipelvectomy who received intraganglionic lidocaine injections under CT guidance, demonstrating a transient but significant reduction in pain. Topics include the challenges of managing post-amputation and phantom limb pain, the potential benefits of targeting dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons for pain relief, and the use of image-guided intraganglionic injection techniques for precise drug delivery to DRGs.
