Abstract
- In Brazil, textbooks are distributed free of charge by the National Book and Didactic Material Program (PNLD). However, these books have a commercial character at the country level, bringing copies of national and international scale. However, the most current pedagogical theories claim that students feel more motivated in the classroom when they make connections between the syllabus and their daily lives, in addition to learning about what surrounds them, feeling part of that territory, seeking to preserve it. it. Currently there is a deficit of didactic materials that fulfill this role, being necessary to produce them. In view of this, the present work aims to present the construction of two didactic notebooks (one with contents and the other with activities) in the territory of the Geopark Quarta Colônia Aspirante UNESCO, in order to collaborate in the teaching practices and methodologies developed in Geography classes at School Primary, offering subsidies to qualify knowledge in heritage education in schools in the territory. Methodologically, a qualitative-exploratory approach was used, carrying out bibliographical and documentary research, guided by weekly meetings. The results achieved in terms of final products were satisfactory, being structurally organized into 5 units that present, respectively, the general/political characterization of the territory, the municipalities and heraldic elements of each one, the relief, the hydrography and the landscape. Finally, it should be noted that the material is in the process of being revised and will soon be delivered, at least virtually, to the schools that make up the territory of the Geopark Quarta Colônia Aspirante Unesco.
