Modeling of the influence of temperature on bistability in optical nonlinear structures.

The model for determining the temperature and its effect on the phenomenon of bistability arising in a three-layer optically nonlinear system (substrate - nonlinear film-coating) is considered. The optical nonlinearity corresponds to Kerr's law. It is shown that using the nonlinearity parameter as a scaling parameter, it is possible to estimate the bistability ranges taking into account the influence of temperature. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
