Numerical comparison of two different single step iterative methods in complex plane for finding basins of attraction.

In this research wok, two distinct iterative methods are compared for finding roots of polynomials in complex plane. Basins of attraction has been derived using five different complex polynomials. Also CPU time comparison has been done to construct these basins of attraction using Newton's method and modified Newton's method. Numerical result shows that the modified Newton's method performs well in almost all cases with respect to Newton's method. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
