Abstract
- The experiment was to develop the synthesis and particle preparation technology of an environmentally friendly mineral trace element additive basic manganese chloride (Mn2(OH)3Cl). In the experiment, basic manganese chloride was synthesized from manganese monoxide and manganese chloride in the presence of catalyst. The optimal reaction conditions were determined as material ratio nMnO:nMnCl2•4H2O=2.6: 1.0, reaction temperature 90 °C, catalyst dosage 0.5% and reaction time 2 h. The reaction liquid was spray-dried and granulated. The product was characterized by IR, and the structure was analyzed by XRD. The XRD patterns obtained were consistent with the standard ones. The experiment indicates that basic manganese chloride can be synthesized from manganese monoxide and manganese chloride under optimized process conditions, and granular basic manganese chloride can be prepared by spray drying process.
