Abstract

This article discusses the complexity of lipoproteins found in plasma and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and their roles in lipid transport and maintenance of lipid homeostasis in the body. While plasma lipoproteins have been well-studied and categorized based on density, CSF lipoproteins are less understood but share some similarities with plasma HDL.
