Abstract
- In a computer network designed with a mesh topology that has many links and is connected to each other, errors such as request time out and destination host unreachable will often be found. This condition can delay the process of transmitting data packets or can even fail the transmission. In this research, Software-Defined Networking technology is used to simulate the transmission of data packets in the network using the Bellman-Ford algorithm and the OpenFlow protocol. The result is the success of determining the right transmission path in the network to anticipate failure of sending data packets from source to destination. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
