Abstract

The study was to explore effect of adding three kinds of microbial ecological agents (herbal compound microecological agent, porcine lactic acid bacteria compound microecological agent, multiple Bacillus compound microecological agent) on growth performance, meat quality and fecal microbiota of pigs. A total of 168 pigs with similar body weight, half in male and female, were randomly divided into four groups, experimental group had eight replicates in each group, control group (DZ group) had four replicates, with six pigs in each replicate. Pigs in control group were fed with basal diet, pigs in QC group were fed with basal diet + 0.50% herbal compound microecological agent, pigs in XW group were fed with basal diet + 0.10% porcine lactic acid bacteria compound microecological agent, and pigs in YLD group were fed with basal diet + 0.05% multiple Bacillus compound microecological agent. The experiment lasted for 126 d. The results showed that compared with control group, adding three kinds of compound probiotics extremely reduced mortality rate of pigs (P<0.01), increased average daily gain and colorimetric score, decreased shear force. Herbal compound probiotics and porcine lactic acid bacteria compound microbiotics decreased F/G, porcine lactic acid bacteria compound microbiotics improved carcass oblique length. The three probiotics also decreased Chao index, Ace index and Shannon index, increased Simpson index. The experiment indicates that three kinds of compound probiotics can improve growth performance of pigs, herb compound probiotics are effective in improving meat quality, probiotics of porcine lactic acid bacteria are effective in improving carcass character of pigs. Three kinds of microbial ecological agents have a certain impact on fecal abundance index, diversity index and microbial community structure. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
