The diverging approaches that are nowadays united under the name “phenomenology” might make us think that this movement is mostly and maybe only unified by the reference to a shared tradition of certain texts. But if this is so, is the interpretation of texts not an alienation of the very object of phenomenology, a phenomenology that started out as the search for the “things themselves”?
