Abstract

Organically soluble octadecamine modified copper nanoparticles were successfully prepared by using sodium octanoate as phase transfer catalyst, octadecamine as ligand agent and sodium borohydride as reducing agent. The reaction pathway was explored by 1H NMR, and the mode of interaction between copper nanoparticles and octadecamine was analyzed by infrared spectroscopy and XPS・ TEM results show that copper nanoparticles have a particle size of 1 〜4 nni. Nano-lubricants dissolved with 1 % copper nanoparticles can be stored for a long time without sedimentation under a variety of conditions ・ TGA test results explain the high solubility and stability of copper nanoparticles in solution.
