PRIMER REGISTRO DE GALIANTHE VALERIANOIDES (SPERMACOCEAE, RUBIACEAE) PARA URUGUAY.

Galianthe valerianoides (Spermacoceae-Rubiaceae) is recorded for the first for the Uruguayan flora (Dpto. Rivera), and as a consequence, its distribution area extends to its southernmost limit. A detailed morphological description, a distribution map in Uruguay, and photographs of the habitat are given for G. valerianoides.
