Türkçe Tefsirlerde Bilimsel Eğilim (1995-2020).

With the proclamation of the Republic, the education system in Turkey took on a different identity as the Ottoman period education system underwent a radical change. The traces of this change have also been directly felt in the field of tafsir. The tradition of writing tafsir in Turkish, which partially existed in the Ottoman scientific tradition, gained momentum with the alphabet revolution in the Republican period. Turkish tafsirs, like the previous tafsirs, were generally written in two ways. The first is tafsir for the people, which are; They are societyoriented commentaries that reveal the aspect of the Qur'an that touches the society, shapes individual and social life and at the same time can be understood by people. The second one is tafsirs such as Zamakhshari (538) and Baidawi (685), which focus on linguistics and similar fields, are equipped with scientific explanations, and have a scientific perspective that requires mastery of the field. In many of these tafsir traditions, it is possible to see many different approaches such as traditional, scientific, isharî and social. This study will draw attention to the scientific tafsir approach that focuses on the interpretation of the verses that deal with the scientific issues that make their presence felt in Turkey, based on the commentaries written in Turkish in the last period (1995-2020), and will try to reveal the extent of this trend in Turkey.
