Abstract
- The article focuses on responding to the arguments put forth in "The Executive Power of Removal," which asserts that the President's power to remove executive officers is exclusive, textually mandated, and a matter of common assent at the time of the Founding. Topics include the author critique the lack of evidence and novelty in the arguments presented and highlight the Supreme Court's increasing embrace of a unitary theory of Article II, despite scholarly weaknesses in the piece.
