ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILL (HOTS).

This study aims to determine students' critical thinking skills in solving Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) problems on two-variable linear equation system material. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were 15 students of grade X MIPA SMA Islam Hisada Pontianak. Descriptive qualitative is the method used in this study and data analysis techniques using models from Miles & Huberman. The instrument used is a HOTS question of 3 questions. The results showed that students with low category abilities did not meet all four indicators of critical thinking skills. Students with moderate category ability can pass three indicators of critical thinking ability well, while students with high category ability can go through all indicators of critical thinking ability properly and correctly.
