However, a few studies have pointed out a greater risk of t-MDS/AML as a late complication of PRRT/peptide receptor chemo radionuclide therapy. Concomitant radiosensitizing chemotherapy with PRRT/PRCRT still plays an important debulking role in NEN patients with high disease burden or biologically aggressive disease, thus t-AML will continue to remain an important issue, particularly in this group of patients.
