Abstract
- Discusses a study which shows that people with active multiple sclerosis (MS) have higher concentrations of certain chemokines in their cerebrospinal fluid. Finding that lymphocytes in the central nervous system of these patients express higher concentrations of specific chemokine receptors than people without MS; Identification of chemicals and receptors involved in the inflammatory process of MS which suggest potential for new treatments; Comments by study author Richard Ransohoff.
