Abstract

Nanotechnologies as well as its combination with surface engineering, offer significant opportunity to enhance to a sustainable energy future, both via more effective utilisation existing renewable resources and by allowing innovative approaches for alternative forms of energy and processes. The nano-materials must be designed, characterized or synthesized while keeping controllable structures, size and shapes. This paper gives the significant analysis during the combustion of aqueous aluminium nano-fluid in diesel fuel, there is a major chemical reaction of hydrogen combustion. The nano particles are made by solid state reaction of aluminium nitrate and citric acid by heating it in a microprocessor-controlled furnace. Because of its high combustion enthalpy and low cost, aluminium has long been used as an energetic material in solid-based propellant rockets and explosives. Nanotechnology has resulted in important advancements in the field of energetic materials. Nano scale energetic materials are considered to exhibit a variety of properties due to their large surface area and special thermal properties. This study is objected to highlight some most exciting advancement in the preparation and characterization of nano-materials. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
