Produção de conhecimento e intervenções por grupos em uma Secretaria da Fazenda.

This study aims to describe a practice of knowledge production and interventions by study groups in a Municipal Treasury Department in southern Brazil, based on a team of tax auditors in a municipality in Paraná. It reports the experience located at the Municipal Treasury Department of Paranaguá - PR (SEMFA), focused on the Tax Inspection Division (DFT) and developed from June to November 2019, whose purpose was thus evident: generation of knowledge, dealing with actions raised whose gaps had not yet been solved, search for reliable data and debates to generate alternatives, search for problem solutions through collective construction and presentation and dissemination of knowledge. As practical implications, it is an innovative initiative of a strategic nature for the production of knowledge and interventions, creation and updating of knowledge, technical involvement in change, concern for improvement and efficiency, contact with public entities and propositions of laws and procedures. Academic contributions are generated by analyzing the practice of organizational actions aimed at improving the services provided, and can be used by other public entities and managers, providing a basis for the contextualized identification of opportunities for improvement and expanding the possibilities of problem solving by the methodology employed. Its relevance is given in the approach of strategies and results derived from a participatory method of problem solving and verification of opportunities, to bring to Administration studies the description and analysis of practical phenomena in organizations, expanding the range of researches with professional emphasis with this theme.
