Abstract

Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is currently pandemic. Even most cases are self-limiting, the SARS-CoV-2 TE could be associated with dermal fibrosis and permanent reduction in hair density in susceptible patients. These cytokines leads to multi-functional cells activation as the pericytes playing a role in perivascular inflammation.[10] All of these pathogenetic mechanisms may explain the presence of fibrosis in the scalp of our patients.
