Abstract

The article informs that fitting and dispensing contact lenses into the ophthalmic practice is not only a huge investment of money, but also time and energy. Plus, there is the task of getting the word out to patients. While the thought of marketing the dispensary can be overwhelming, numerous marketing support and educational programs are available from many contact lens manufacturers. Eye care firm Bausch & Lomb Inc. seeks a collaborative relationship with eyecare practitioners to help them market their offices and grow their respective products.
