The article focuses on challenging the common view that Confucianism advocates for unquestioning obedience to authority. Topics include the examination of Confucian texts that suggest questioning authority, the distinction between Cultural Confucianism and Philosophical Confucianism, and the analysis of the relationship between authority and autonomy in Confucianism.
