Abstract

A new lime-Iree (lotation process was studied on a lead-zinc sullide ore containing 2. 22% lead, 2. 85% zinc and 105 g/t silver, which the main target minerals are galena and sphalerite. The results showed that under the condition ol the linness ol 一0. 074 mm occupying 66. 32% and adopting the lead-zinc sequence prelerential Ilotation process, lead concentrate containing 62. 10% Pb, 4. 79% Zn and 1 953. 36 g/t Ag was obtained by using zinc sullate + sodium pyrosullite + MZ, with the lead recovery ol 90.48% and siliver recovery ol 60. 12%; Zinc concentrate grading Zn 53. 15 %, Pb 1. 65% and Ag 262・ 74 g/t was also obtained by using sodium sullite+ copper sullate + MKX through closed-circui t test, with the zinc recovery of 87.42% and siliver recovery of 11. 67%. The high efficiency separation ol lead and zinc could be achieved without alkali, and the associated silver recovery can be signilicantly improved. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
