The present paper presents an interdisciplinary concept dealing with climate change and biodiversity. Its aim is to foster the connectedness to nature and especially the environmental knowledge, which both influence the environmental competence. The pupils are supposed to become aware of the importance of biodiversity in the context of climate change and also acquire or consolidate the necessary chemical background knowledge.
