Patience is a trait that is praised by religion because it is one of the great virtues of prophethood. However, the community environment destroys the order of the community that fails to control angry emotions resulting in immoral in the neighborhood community. There are many cases of arguments due to anger involving behavior of communities that are very worrying. Therefore, the patient approach should be emulated based on the practice shown by the Prophet PBUH. The implementation of patience reflects the moral ethics of Muslim society. This article uses literature review through several primary and secondary sources. This article also uses deductive and thematic methods. The results of the study found that patience is part of the value of human moral development. The component of patience needs to be practiced in dealings involving the legacy of social life in the neighboring lifestyle community. Therefore, elements such as language reservation in the neighboring community encourage honoring neighbors, maintaining neighborly harmony, and avoiding bad neighbors need to be tempered with patience. Therefore, the relevance of patience should be nurtured from a young age. In addition, it should be applied in social interaction oriented to a prophetic approach to create harmony among community members, especially neighbors in continuing struggle of challenging life.
