O período Monárquico na História de São Francisco do Sul: abismos de silêncios.

The present text aims to deal with the history of São Francisco do Sul in the 19th century. Starting from a brief analysis of the text about the city's history present in the São Francisco do Sul City Hall website, used as a narrative document of the official history, we criticize the poverty of information present in the text. Then, in an attempt to fill in the gaps identified, we make a bibliographical survey about the history of the city in the period, demonstrating that it is possible to tell the history of São Francisco do Sul in a deeper way and without silencing in the face of highly relevant themes.
