Abstract
- The article presents a summary of the disease outbreak news (DON) reports that have been published in May 2023. Topics include the declaration of an outbreak of the hepatitis E virus (HEV) in Wau city, South Sudan, the detection of avian influenza (H5) virus in a poultry worker at a farm in England, and an increase in cases of severe neonatal sepsis associated with Enterovirus in France on May 5, 2023.
