Abstract
- The article discusses the use of metaphors when talking about artificial intelligence (AI) and argues that the metaphors are misleading. Topics discussed include factual mistakes churned out by ChatGPT and large language models (LLMs), tendency of humans to anthropomorphise things, and importance of AI for loose language.
