Abstract

The report is about the expansion of the declaration as a Cultural Heritage Site of the headquarters of the Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation in Madrid. Vicente Aleixandre's personal archive, Nobel Prize winner in 1977, is considered of great historical, archival, and bibliographic importance. The state of conservation of the archive is uneven and precise actions are required for its proper preservation. The building of the Royal Academy was declared a Monument in 1998, but it is proposed to modify the declaration to expand its boundaries. The report was prepared by Luis Alberto de Cuenca y Prado and will be evaluated by the Royal Academy of History. [Extracted from the article]
