Abstract
- There are transitory spaces whose unique configuration leaves a lasting impression in the instantaneous perception and memory of the spectator (Barthes, 1990) experiencing emotions and sensations of risk, adrenaline, respect, peace, harmony, serenity, longing, freedom, mystery and perplexity, among other connotations and special definitions that become part of the symbolic representations, cognitive, mental and affective appreciations. From interpretative anthropology, these experiences are linked to subjectivity and specifically to the category "Liminality" (Van Geneep, 2008 and Turner, 1980), appreciable in the geophysical space because they are places that obey allochthonous phenomena or possess unrepeatable morphology, which turn them into thresholds in themselves, borders, limits and referential edges that could be linked to ancient processes of cosmization and sacralization in the tracing of the axis mundi (Eliade, 1958) and therefore respond to ignored "mythical cartographies" linked to processes of birth, transformation, recreation and cultural preservation.
