A framework of secured system using blockchain in healthcare industry.

Blockchain is an emerging technology that can provide innovative solutions for various complex real life problems. The Blockchain is essentially a ledger that effectively records as well as verifies every transaction which can easily be engineered to keep a record of practically everything with value. Blockchain is distributed that made it trust worthy as copies of the transactions are maintained at multiple nodes. All the copies cannot be modified by one intruder. This prompts to a dependable environment for money related transactions. It is among the efficient and highly transparent system that can have great value in the finance, supply chain management, real estate, healthcare, insurance, and other industries that are data-intensive. Blockchain can enhance the efficiency while collecting and storing the medical records. Evidence-based better care, quicker and more accurate diagnoses that result in better treatments at lower costs of care, avoiding needless investigations, powerful and predictive analytics to support individualized care, and improved health policy decisions based on better understanding are just a few advantages of collecting medical records. The research on the paper starts with the exploration of Blockchain technology for different industries in India. The research will further investigate the implications of Blockchain system in the health care sector and will propose the model for its effective implementation. The objective of the study was to understand the applications and benefits of Blockchain in healthcare sector especially in Indian context. The researchers and government bodies trusted the Blockchain that can act as solution to different healthcare challenges in context to Indian Healthcare system. The study will further focus on the key challenges in the implementation of Blockchain. This work also includes review of Blockchain implementation in the healthcare industry and the review of different white papers, reports and publications available in renowned electronic databases.
