As finanças e a evolução dos bancos digitais: uma resenha.

The development of the financial sector has always been an important factor, not only for economic development, as Levine (2005) points out, but also for human development, according to Pompeu and Lima (2021). And that is why a range of studies in economics are dedicated to trying to understand the correlations between money and well-being, such as the famous text by Adam Smith (2010). In this sense, this article seeks to present a very contemporary theme in the list of finance studies, digital banks, which in most studies are related to a possible positive relationship with economic growth and social well-being. We seek to contextualize the subject and expose possible theoretical approaches that can be used as a basis for modeling digital banks in scientific studies of economics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
