Abstract
- The article discusses Looking Glass Pond in Schoharie County, New York State, where the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has built trails to federal accessibility standards, the design requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Architectural Barriers Act. The viewing platform at Carpenter Falls on the shores of Skaneateles Lake features a panel that allows wheelchair users and people of short stature to get a better view of the 90-foot cascade of water.
