Abstract
- Importantly, these methods produced "generative models" that distinguish unique BB populations, assign BBs into distinct rows of cilia, distinguish new from mature BBs, and predict cortical BB spatial organization with high fidelity. The microtubule-based cilia of I Tetrahymena thermophila i are anchored in the cell cortex by an intricate array of organized basal bodies (BBs) which template cilia biogenesis.
