Abstract
- The article presents a case report of a 71-year-old male with oral mucous membrane pemphigoid (MMP) while under treatment with vildagliptin, a dipeptidyl peptidase-IV inhibitor (DPP4i) used for type 2 diabetes. The report highlights the association between DPP4 inhibitors and autoimmune blistering disorders and suggests substituting the drug or discontinuing it to achieve remission of MMP symptoms.
