Abstract
- This study aims to produce SnNPs (tin/Sn nanoparticles) with the PLA (pulse laser ablation) method. SnNPs were successfully synthesized using a low power (1064 nm, 7ns, 10 Hz) neodymium yttrium aluminum garnet (Nd: YAG) laser. In this study, a pulse laser beam was focused on a high-purity (99.95%) tin plate surface, which is placed into pure liquid distilled water to produce colloidal SnNPs. Colloidal SnNPs were successfully produced with a brownish color. The spherical nanoparticles were shown in the SEM morphology. The mean diameter of SnNPs size is 62.83 nm, and the maximum absorbance is centered on the maximum wavelength at 200 nm. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
