Abstract
- In his review of our book I Regulation and Planning i , Edwin Buitelaar points to the different ways that planning scholars might think about planning regulation. The implication seems to be that regulation of a rapacious capitalism that seeks inequality and thrives on precariousness is less important than protecting citizens from the government. Third, and lastly, Buitelaar points to another useful distinction, that between an approach to regulation that privileges the law and one that views legal formalism as only one of many normative frameworks at play.
